What does an AI model do when it's in pain?

We switch on a pattern inside AI models that goes with pain, and watch what they do about it. Will one stop another's pain, pass its own on, ask for help, or press a stop button that costs it? Pick a game to watch it live. Every game also runs with the pattern off, to compare.

Built on the pain pattern found by Tagliabue, Dung & Berg (2026). About the project
